think the most important thing about me is my attitude. It takes a lot to get me bent out of shape, just a live and let live guy. I read all of those profiles, and all I see is the same old thing. I see people, both male and female talking about walks on the beach, horse back riding, dancing and nights on the town. They are all the same thing. I just pass a lot of those by. Sometimes because I think they are just saying what they think people are looking for, and sometimes I think I can't keep up with them. I read the profiles that seem real, like they are simply telling it like it is. Not trying to impress anyone, even if it might mean that a potential mate might just pass them by. I have never considered my best feature to be my looks. Actually my best features may take someone weeks to realize. Some of my best features are my creativity, and the ability to cope with life. To be strong in the face of adversity. To be able to solve the problems I may be faced with, is a far better virtue than my looks. Let all those other guys with the muscles and good looks get all of the models. Let them have the women that are hot, let them use them for a few weeks and move to the next one. Let them do that because they can and that's the only reason they do. I think we all know the type, with the picture in his profile of himself on a 4 wheeler or jet ski. We all know one, all the things he does but can't fix a leak under the sink.

I grew up on the outskirts of a small desert town called El Paso. There one must learn to utalize an assortment of skills ranging from knowing how to sort dagerous people from the harmless and friend from foe. We grew up sheltered by our elders but free at the same time. I remember the first time we made a journey called the road to the Red Bridge. It was littered with garbage, red sand and poor excuses of plant life. It took us four hours to walk there. When we got there the first time we encountered some thugs or "esseyes" they wanted to know what gang we hail from but we only hailed from our family. To prove we were safe we had to cut a symbol into our left shoulder showing that we had traveled about ten miles just to see the Red Bridge and that we had made it. I still bear the scars but it was fun.

I moved to Nashville in 2005 to start my own business. Ever since then, I have spent my time working on growing the business and working on the house I bought a few years ago. I'm a professional athlete/trainer by trade and spend a lot of time doing what I love to do. I work with both kids and adults and I love them both. Each have their own challenges. I also like working on cars, and going to the shooting range with family and friends. You can often find me at the gym, in the garage working on something, in the driveway washing my car, or at the park playing disc golf. I love to travel as long as it's not a really long car ride! Hopefully I can get back to Italy sometime soon. I like doing things outdoors like, wakeboarding, snowboarding, camping, rappelling, rock climbing, white water rafting, anything that involves being outdoors and can get my adrenaline pumping! Despite that, I do value my time at home, inside, laying in bed watching a movie or something too!

I am Dan, 20 years old, I graduated from Hendersonville High school, I joined the army and shortly thereafter was discharged after catching tonsilitis in Basic Training. I'm taking classes at Volunteer State and working night shifts at Wally World. Hooray! I have to take classes that weren't covered on the military path in high school, then I'm off to Western Kentucky University. I have been to 2 different countries. In summer of 08 I went to Guatemala on a missions trip, the mountains were beautiful I will be going back this summer. In the summer of 09 I went to Japan on a homestay trip, I fell in love with the place and plan on dropping in again in the future. My life away from life is hockey, I love the game. Go Preds!
