If you want to hike in a beautiful state park or visit a historic landmark, you can do both. If you live in Hendersonville, there is no better place in the country to enjoy all about this great city than Lexington, KY (we're talking about you Lexington KY). It is a great place for people who like to go out and explore, whether it is hiking, biking, camping, fishing or just having fun.
Gallatin offers quality of life and is accessible for all kinds of activities. You will also find outdoor recreation that revolves around the waters of the Cumberland River. A variety of hiking, biking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities are also available for residents, parks and tourists.
Bledsoe Creek State Park offers fishing and a drive to Old Hickory Lake, where there are great fishing opportunities. You can also kayak and paddle along BLEDsoed Creek or head upside down on the Cumberland River or the old Hickories Lake, where fishing is great!
When in town, check out the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum for a little history and country music artifacts and memorabilia. Visit a library dedicated to the Confederacy and admire the stunning architecture and original furnishings of Trousdale.
The Sumner County Museum mainly exhibits Indian artifacts, including those that lived in the area. An exhibition includes a collection of artefacts from the early days of the migration to the area, as well as the history of the region.
The historic city of Gallatin is one of the best places to live and be on a road trip through Tennessee. There is no museum, but there are many other attractions to visit, such as the National Historic Landmarks Museum, Gallatins School and Sumner County Museum. Notable places we visited when we were in Gallatin included the Tennessee Museum of Natural History and a number of museums in the area. Its schools, infrastructure and natural facilities make it a great destination for visitors to Tennessee.
This part of the state is beautiful all year round and offers a variety of activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, camping, hiking and fishing.
A great place to enjoy a meal after work with friends is Hendersonville, near Nashville. One of the best pizza restaurants in Gallatin, TN, that makes a great pizza stand for stopping and taking a quick bite is Pizza Hut, which makes it one of my favorite places in Tennessee. Lexington is just over 200 miles from Hendersonville and takes about 4 hours to reach by car. This is a journey that could easily be made in one day and perhaps turned into a weekend adventure. It is the hub of idyllic Tennessee life, which, depending on traffic and road conditions, means a journey time of about an hour and a half to two hours.
